Psalm 9: Manhandling His Color

Psalm 9: Manhandling His Color

I wouldn’t know

About the earth

If my mother didn’t have

A growling voice

She told me there was more

Than the sky

But I was the sky

Air is where I bore her

Earthly grounded

Earth and mud is where she visited

The darkened terrain of lowly mankind

I told mother

Join me up here

Live for the beauty of your brothers’ own perchance

See me alive

Over the clouds

Come to the highlighted blue

You are my wonder

Mother said

Wonderful
